HISTORY OF NASH GALLERY AND CAFE

When unfulfilled dreams create restlessness, they eventually lead to passionate actions guided strongly by a magnetic pull.  For Gavin and Sandee, the pull to leave North Queensland to head south and finally do what their souls commanded - to shape clay into beautiful, unique pottery, shape flour into beautiful delicious food and share nature's gifts in the form of flower essences - was the rich food for their souls.

In Esk, the heart of the Somerset region of South East Queensland, they found a place steeped in rich history and solid beauty, the Lars Anderson house.  In the centre of town, businessman and passionate builder, Lars Anderson, left a legacy which would be the perfect venue for Gavin and Sandee. They have flourished in their desires, delighting both locals and travellers with their passionate crafting of food, art and healing.

Wander around this equisite building; read the history on the walls and be transported back in time to a pioneering life and the people who shaped it.
